Like this one vivienne the knife has given the piece a lovely finish looks like you found a technique you really do well i will keep my eye open for your next picture.

Lovely painting Vivienne! Painting with a palette knife really is very liberating and the results are sometimes fantastic like here. Well done!

You have certainly captured the wistful look that all horses seem to have, especially on the face of the right hand one....and with a palette knife too!

A wet day in South Wales, so watched a couple of Youtube clips, came across one by Christian Jequel knife painting horses. Felt inspired and painted this in an hour from a photo taken in Florence. A departure for me just using a painting knife, but very freeing!
