This has worked very well, and I love the almost abstract quality of this. Will look great as a focal point on the wall of any lounge.

Thanks Stephen... this is a focal point in a bedroom and hangs on a dark purple wall..looks very effective.

Size 115 x 60 cms. Acrylic Inks , silver 3D ink, glitter glue, on Canvas. The Day lilies used as the subject are almost black in colour with deep red stripes on the petals.. Very striking. To make the painting dynamic I geesoed the canvas heavily in the shape of petals and then allowed the inks used to run into the shapes made by the gesso- adding line work etc later.
