Thank you Heather, Stephen and Carole. Although I like oils, I prefer the fact that acrylics dry so quickly but I won’t rule it out!

I have shied away from acrylics for a long time so have taken the plunge and weirdly enjoyed the new painting technique and experience and painted this from a photo I took recently. Although I still love the transparency of watercolour it is a novelty being able to just paint over something and completely rearrange it! So will keep on with acrylics for a bit……..but they’re very messy aren’t they?!
