The Book Is Better than the Tablet

I spotted this "typical" British family in the tube 2 weeks ago, and the first thing that I saw was the dressing line: they all looked like they have arrived straight from the late 70s - early 80s. Quite the blast from the past for ME, as I was 6-7 years old at the time and I have clear and conscious memories of that very period. But what was even more extraordinary about this family was that modern devices were nowhere to be seen. Instead, the mother was reading from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to her daughters! It was a real Gift to witness this, and I do hope that the great legacy these parents were passing on to their girls will make the latter happy and confident! 💚
