Egyptian Dancers with Shamadans
This may not be the best looking painting I have done, but it is as yet the most heroic one. I didn't give up on it regardless of how hopeless and overworked it looked at times. What a Journey! As for the story behind, it was a recently emerged memory of the Egyptian Dancers I saw 19 years ago, at an international folklore festival organized in my hometown in Bulgaria each summer. These dancers looked like characters from an Arabian Nights fairy tale!!!
