Acrylic on canvas 50x50 cm The inspiration for this painting came following a visit to Lincoln Cathedral, and a viewing of the vibrant stained glass windows. The butterfly, newly emerged from its' chrysalis represents new life and renewal, a subject close to my heart following recovery from severe ME using the Phil Parker Lightning Process. The colours of the wings are reminiscent of a stained glass window. The colour of the background represents the dawning of a new day.
