This is utterly charming and wonderful. What a super collection of dogs - they all look as if they have very different characters. Brilliantly painted - bet Matt will treasure this painting for ever.

Dear All, thank you so much for your lovely comments and interest. To answer your question, Brenda, excluding the initial drawings and getting all the dogs in the correct proportion, the actual painting took between15-20 hrs. (I must admit though, that I am a slow worker - I stop a lot to see what I've done so far and consider what my next move will be).
