Good, you've got him - now leave well alone! This medium seems to suit you. What I like about this bird is that he's "real" - I'm getting a bit bored with paintings which prettify the world and tidy up every damn' feather, leaf, twig, and stone. So I've just done one of my "dirty" pictures! Or am just doing it - a dark, mucky watercolour .... if it doesn't go (more) wrong, I'll post it: then all those I've criticized can have their revenge.... I like your pale background in this, by the way - all the attention goes to the bird.

Thanks Robert! Good of you to take the time to comment again! I have some birdy pics on my bedroom wall (feathered variety) done by some pro artist (John Ball) & I tried to replicate his background ideas, so thanks for that! I'll keep a look out for your upload ......

I agree with Robert. I like this blue tit as he's slightly scruffy and a bit frazzled looking which is how they are in real life. The glossy looking bird and animal paintings can get a bit samey and your little bird looks real! Well done :)

Hi Louise thanks, Yes a little fellow lands in front of my window most mornings, and looks very scruffy indeed, even more so than the image I have drawn here ha ha ... But to be fair we all have our bad hair days........

Just found your Baz re run.....he is defiantly getting a grip. Lovely.

Hi Sylvia, yes I think he's safer now ha ha thanks x

yes Carole :-) xx

Lovely to see Baz dropping in again James, you could make him a regular feature of the site. Has Baz got a wife and family, does he have any hobbies?? He's a real character, and I love him!

Well Fiona, I think he's got his eye on some bird? He seems very busy at the moment? However, being very polite, he does take the time to chat, and seems very interested in where I get my fat balls from.....

Just spat allover computer laughing......... best laugh I've had today!!!!

Looks good, James!

Re Carole's comment. Me too !!!!
