I can see the difficulty re detail with the smaller version. When it's finished and you photo it minus the " side panels" it will have impact.

This is turning out to be quite an enlightening experience (for me anyway). Certainly for analysis of a painting kinesthetically. It may be the time of year but I am looking at skies and trying to think how Titian would have painted them. Think I'll do a Goya next (third of May or Dona Isabel), and maybe a Rembrandt (a scale version of the Night Watch maybe)
