Yum! Such rich colours - bet that pie tasted good!

Good use of light and a nice composition, well done.

The pie was excellent thaks Jane. Added a few early blackberries and it was just perfect, Great apples twice over. Sean thank you for your comment about the composition. I always struggle with it. I have a slightly unusual method of getting to something I like. I wrote about it in a demonstration on my website http://trevorosborneartist.co.uk/ I would be really interested in any thoughts you have about it.

Trevor, I had a look at your website. It's so interesting discovering how different people tackle a new painting, and reading about how you go about it so carefully and thoughtfully. That's the wonderful thing about this website with so many people sharing ideas and opinions, and such a great opportunity to learn. Love the works on your website and it's always a pleasure to see a new one here.

I am in awe of your excellent pastels, it makes me look at mine and think I should give up now LOL Can I ask you which pastels you use, hard, soft or pencils, or a combination of all three? If it's a trade secret I'll understand LOL.

Love the reflected light, great pastel.

Really successful light everywhere.
