Unusual colours but works well, I didn't know there was a wrong side to canvas. I like your other boat paintings too, especially northern dawn.

Sixteen years ago i took a photo of Arundel Castle and lost it! yesterday i found it and with Sussex being one of my favourite parts of the world i produced this painting using it as reference.[the photo i took was on a dull day].I mistakenly painted this on the wrong side of the canvas,but it did give me more of a course surface to work on.On the left i added some texture paste for the grass and underpainted in primary red acrylic.
