I love everything about this: the colour, the light and shadows on the road, the blue on the houses, the poles and posts and whisp of smoke leading one around the picture. I could go on ... Beautiful.

Fantastic command of colour and tone. Stopped me in my tracks. I'm intrigued to know if you made a blue acrylic bole over all and painted oils on to it... or was there some mix of acrylic and oil ?. Some blue oil brush stokes added in foreground ? I posted a not dissimilar scene of hill and road - alas redolent of mud colour and over worked brush marks - so I'm minded to try to copy yours -- sure to learn something in the process. Most grateful.
