Thank you for your kind comment on my little village school; nothing in comparison to this. This is amazing. I'd love to have the confidence to paint on this scale. Crumbs; imagine doing something like that in watercolours! I do have a big canvas just waiting for the right subject; probably in acrylics. Just can't get the hang of oils.

I put this photo on my gallery just to show the actual scale of the painting, i love working on huge paintings like this. I look really tired because i'd worked all night it's 4.30am and i'm ready to crash. I cannot tell you, the smell from the turps in my living room was overpowering! I don't know whether other artists suffer from the frustration that a camera cannot capture the true colours. I'm so pleased i have just released a set of dvds called Learn to Oil Paint with Trev Goodwin it's an unbelieveable 9 hrs long! Â£44.00 including postage.
