You have done a really god job here. Is it pastel? Light on top of dark - a darker background would make the cat stand out more. You have used some darker shades on the cat's body - look at the shading on your fox cub's ears - you have been adventureous with the colours there. Well done.

A different, possibly darker paper would set it off more and as Jeannette says, dark shading in among the white or dark underpainting. If you look carefully at a white animal you will see that it isn't white at all. I just did a polar bear http://www.painters-online.co.uk/gallery/picture.asp?id=10147 and used hardly any white; there is beige, yellow, brown, some black and some blue with white just on the very top of the back where the light strikes it. With a white animal you have to be much braver with shadows and other colours.

Thankyou for both your comments i need all the help i can get, i will see if i can find your polar bear.
