Winter walk by Tracey Waghorn

I like it, as a whole and in its parts - eg, the birds give scale, and are convincingly painted; the far clump of trees is very well done; and I like the printed lines - edge of a piece of card? - in the foreground, contrasted with the sweeping movement of the landscape. Very simple - and yet, not simple at all. Old scrubby brushes have many uses: not the least of which is that you don't have any sense of inhibition about giving them a good old bash.
