I think it's very nice

I agree, great composition and the spray was indeed effective. Well done.

I think it's lovely too, and the blurred edges are very effective.

Love your approach to this- great use of darks - a lovely piece

an eye-catcher. I like it!

I agree with the above, especially with Fred: stunning technique and beautiful result!!

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments!

I think you have made a splendid job of this, Tracey. I like the palette you have used, although i think perhaps the blue of the sky, tho' very Tuscan, might have been more effective if 'tweaked' a little to a lower tone value....I would have liked to see it lose itself somewhat towards the top of the paper, not asking for attention quite so much. A striking piece of work, though. Well done.

A beautiful piece - wonderful composition and lovely colors.

what I like about it is that it looks like a plein -air painting, also love the way you have got the light to shine through from the sky right down to the bottom of the pic - lovely work

This really well done. I tried something similar and it was awful, so thanks for showing how it could be done.

Like it very much Tracy, great technique it really works!

I painted this watercolour as a commission piece, added burnt sienna ink details, then sprayed with water to blur the edges. What do you think?
