hi you have done wonderful with your dasies you really captured the loose feel from paula

Lovely loose painting Paula

Congrats Paula - this is a lovely study

If you were trying to teach students how to paint flowers, this is the image you'd use - (by the way everyone, it's Tracey, not Paula...). I'm not keen on very precise botanical studies - unless it's for botanical illustration in technical books -and here you've completely caught the flower AND achieved a beautiful painting in its own right: superb use of watercolour.

Thank you so much for your comments, and also to you, Robert - a fine accolade indeed!

This is a super watercolour painting, Tracey and you have a wonderful portfolio of work.

Lovely painting Tracey.

My apologies Tracey - I called you Paula above - still a great piece of work

Wonderful painting, love the blue and your lighting and technique!

I have painted this watercolour in a very loose style, with lots of lifting out and dropping in of colour - I added the touches of prussian as an afterthought, but I think it works! Painted as a demo piece for my weekly art group in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Watercolour painting and drawing sessions,in very small groups, on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Learn easy, simple but effective watercolour and drawing techniques to create paintings to be proud of! Tutored, friendly, small group watercolour classes are at the Great Barton village hall, Details at www.traceywaghorn.co.uk
