Out of my rocky head by Anthony Stubbs

Beautifully atmospheric, the foreground craggy rocks are brilliant.

Beautiful, I like the craggy rock foreground.

Wonderful! The sky as it dissipates into a pale blue has worked well from the bold horizontal line and these experiments are fascinating as the pigments seem to develop quite spontaneously without any preconceived ideas...it's fascinating to work with the harmony and ease. The rock surface has formed its own texture surface too, nicely painted indeed! It's amazing as nature seems to present just the way it is intended to be and without any finicking!

Super atmosphere, Anthony!

It's a really good doodle!

A great example of what can be achieved when liberated from a reference photograph. Must try it.

Fabulous atmosphere Anthony.

Plenty of atmosphere, lovely painting.

Eventually I saw something emerging and I refined it a bit to produce what you see here.
