Basic decorator's brushes, forsooth?! While the rest of us labour with our expensive filberts, flats, and folderols? I've started on the gin, I expect you can tell; plus, I've gone beyond my threescore and ten too, it liberates the tongue, taken together with the pre-prandials. It's an excellent painting, coming back down to earth, and a pleasure to see it. Your tree has grace - and well judged colour.

The tree stands out beautifully, it has a nice delicate shape against the more solid greens.

It's fantastic - and those brushes, blimey! Robert has said it all!

Superb tree and those difficult greens are beautifully managed.

Beautifully painted.

Your tree has taken on an ethereal look, set against its background.

I see Ms Morley has staged one of her deeply unpleasant returns, but she is best ignored when she does that, while still enjoying any praise she might bestow.
