Crossing in the field by Anthony Stubbs
Largely adapted from memory, this used to be on one of my frequent routes. which was also a popular route for other walkers and dog walkers. Alas no more with "Private land - Keep out" signs newly erected at every access point. I don't make a habit of trespassing, so I respect that, but maybe others do not, as evidenced by the well worn tracks. This i largely executed in acrylic, on canvas but with added use of soft pastel to attempt to create texture.
