Hedgerow tree
Last week. To the right and left brambles festooned with blackberries. But here this poor tree stands sentinel and much abused. Alas for this year only. there is planning for 97 new homes immediately adjacent, so no more blackberry and apple crumble after this year. Acrylic on watercolour paper, employing a variety of implements, and the odd brush.
