I've watched this tree for several years now. it's on one of my favourite walking routes. It once had many great branches and was tall and strong , offering both shelter and shade. Over the years the ravages of age, of freak weather and mans unkindness have reduced it to what it is now. I guess you get the idea that I rather like trees. This is in acrylic, with a touch of soft pastel and using various techniques and implements on oil painting paper.
