A brick cairn atop a rocky peak with an open landscape beyond. Changeable weather. Largely adapted from memory and a forty-year old fuzzy photo I took way back then. But I do remember that feeling of sadness and remembrance of what passed there a scant few months before. Executed In acrylic on watercolour paper with several coats of gesso applied to enable the paper to survive some rough treatment.
