A part of one of my favourite local walks, though a route best attempted in wellies, unless its been dry for weeks. But on this day, early morning and the mud was crisply frozen and, still with the vestiges of recent snow. The path leads onward bending to the left past the fallen trees. Its lovely in summer too, in fact all seasons have their own particular beauty.
