Great Budworth by Tony O’Neill
I am an amateur artist, retired and use pastel pencils but begin drawing, using fine ink pens. I have returned to pen and produced this image of the iconic Cheshire village of Great Budworth. I used cross-hatch as a technique but now utilise “pointillism” to create elements of shade and shadow. The image contains probably in the region of 2,000,000 dots. Sounds slavish but it’s actually very satisfying to see the subject and row.
