Two lovely pieces of work, love them both. Great the way you've painted the sea including the reflected colours.

What a wonderful painting! I haven't looked at the other one yet, I'm drinking this one in first. The energy, movement of the boats, water, sky, together with the vibrancy of the colours make this an amazing piece of work, I'm interested in the fact that you used Ateliers. I'm not all that proficient in acrylics, though I'm trying to learn how to handle them, and I find Ateliers very transparent. I mean I find their paints wishy washy. It's probably something I'm doing wrong. I'm going to go and look at the other painting in the album now and feast my eyes!!

Hi Lala, Thank you for your comments, these are two of a series I have developed specific to the unique blendability properties of Atelier Interactive. I first created the series for the upper Deck Gallery in Cornwall and have found sucess with collectors since that point. If you are finding Atelier Interactive wishy washy I can only offer the advice that it is in your handling and perhaps you should look to find a workshop with one of the Atelier demonstartors. I painted with all brands of acrylic (and all other paints) professionally for several decades and have found the Atelier so revolutionary with the ability to work through a whole spectrum of techniques from watercolour style to Impasto.

A big 1 metre square work painted with Atilier Interactive Acrylics. These new paints give me the ability to develope work in Oil techniques without the chemicals that can be harmful to my health.
