This is a stunning image Tony and I do admire your palette choice and the detail

almost a Hockney!

Hi Ann, Know what you mean. It a view David uses for last eight years I have painted it regularly for twice as many years. Its the road between Davids home and mine.

I thought the same as Ann before reading your text.......I prefer yours, to Hockney's Tony, love the light.

Very kind of you to say so Fiona. I think Davids is amazing, particularly the scale of them. Its good that we can all take the same motif and put our stamp on it.

Lovely feeling of early morning light.

I love the trees, almost human

I loved David Hockney's versions and I love yours too. The colours in the track are glorious aNd the composition is very appealing.

Love it...great trees and use of colour. Well done.
