Charcoal sketch of a horse my wife and I used to visit at a place called Old Redding. There was a car park that had grass to sit on and a view over Middlesex that stretches - on a clear day - to Windsor. There also was a very good pub called ' The Case is altered ' A good place to sit and take in the view over London.

In 1979 my wife organised a series of painting lessons with a French Artist who taught art in a college in north west London. The painting lessons turned out to be anything but. For ten months he made me draw anything from toe nail clippings to the pieta and paintings in the various galleries…
