Pencil sketch of a close friend of my wife. We met Mathilde and her friend Hilde every year for 8 years at a small family-run hotel in the Mondrago forest area of Majorca. Both ladies were Austrian and very keen skiers Hilde was 87 and only gave up skying when she was 85. Mathilde was a gardening 'fanatic '. We lost contact with them when Hilde died in 2009.
