This chap looks very forlorn and has a sad expression. Maybe a loss of habitat or just a bad day in the forest. It was painted using mainly Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils which are oil based. Highlights and fine white hairs were picked out in white gouache as I am unable to achieve highlights like this using the white pencil. Don't know if anyone else has more success or maybe there is a technique that I haven't picked up. Can do this with an indenter on white paper but not on coloured,
