Dogfight over the Western Front 1918
This large oil painting is 41" x 32" and was painted to commemorate both the centenary of the end of world war one and the centenary of the formation of the Royal Air Force. It depicts the final dogfight of the Red Barron over the western front in early 1918. The painting hung in the Lytham Heritage Centre for three months as part of their WW1 Centenary event.
