Lovely demonstration, I enjoyed it, but I found the clock constantly ticking in the back ground very distracting!

Hi Jorja, Sorry, thats my replica RAF Operations Room Plotting Clock which made a significant contribution to the war effort... especially during the Battle of Britain. I guess after a while I don't notice the ticking in my studio....

A fascinating demonstration - I wondered where it would go in the beginning with all the colour running down the page!! The final result is beautiful but there's no way I could get near to producing anything resembling yours - I'm a natural pessimist!! but also a realist! Thanks for posting this.

Thanks Tim for showing me how you do your work, it really does help a beginner. Will visit your website now.

This is very good i am a begginer and marvelled at how you made it all so detailed in the end as the begining was rather worrying but i so enjoyed it. I actually liked the clock ticking relaxing didnt notice it after a while. I hope to watch this video again & again Many thanks Susan

loved it from beginning to end, great control and I can only hope I can be half as good

A really good video. It worked so well without a commentary. The sky touches were really interesting to watch. The lovely warm colours shone through to the end and the church is especially good. I actually preferred the painting about two thirds through, before you put in extra details/darks etc. on the trees and grass. Possibly the dark grey end of the house was a bit too strong in tone. But this is the best short video by far that I've seen on here. I learned a lot and I'll watch it again. Thanks

I've only just discovered the video facility on this site - very good demonstration!
