Thank you Jiri. Yes, I was relieved to get the likeness. Still getting to grips working with oil pastel. Very different to soft pastel.

We were asked to do a refresh on an old master at my art club in no more than ninety minutes. I chose a portrait of one of my favourite artists, Paul Cezanne. I hope he would not have been too upset at my effort.
