Great perspective and painting

I really like this, it stood out to me. Like Heather, I like the perspective. I also like the colours and the reason you give for painting local scenes. I see from your portfolio that you are a very accomplished painter, particularly in portraiture. I am a bit bewildered as to why I haven't noticed your artwork before!

30cm x 30cm, Oil on canvas panel. I am starting a small project, painting local places around where I live. My youngest Child is at a specialist school and is very visual, so thought I would paint places he is interested in. He passes this bridge every day on the school bus and we walk there often.
