A very effective and appealing picture, I too love the splashes, they put the turtle firmly in the picture, not just an image on plain paper (sorry didn't explain myself very well).

My dreamy sea turtle drifts through his aqueous surroundings and makes me feel calm as I gaze at him. I painted this sea turtle in soft blues, greens and yellows to evoke the deep waters and light that reflects off the ocean floor onto his belly.
