Beautifully observed Thalia. Super variety of greens. That dark patch in the left hand corner makes all work together so well.

Thank you all very very much. I hope this also shows how fragile our earth is...if you look at the sea level and the level of the land on the left, Gharb Village behind the lighthouse, it's almost the same level! Global warming will make Gozo almost disappear. Thank you,Lewis, Carole, John...indeed yes, it seems to bring it all together! Thank you, Gudrun, kind of you! Thanks Heather, Emma, Russell, Dennis Fiona and Carole. Indeed my view is stunning...but not today...thunder and torrential rain for the next three days... studio here I come!!!

Hang on Studio Wall

Painted from my studio window as it was far too windy for my easel outside. This is our view, we are so very lucky. I tried to capture the cloud shadows skudding across the now green terraces. Any one who has visited Gozo will know our terraced fields. Gordon Lighthouse on the far hill is the only lighthouse on the Maltese islands. I have not indicated the scaffolding, it is under renovation and its light is sorely missed!
