Lovely, Thalia.

Love the arch of the tree framing the painting and your usual charming greens and burnt siennas.

I think this is your best painting of this series Thalia - the winding staircase and the vivid use of loose brushstrokes- perfect captures both mood and atmosphere.

Love it Thalia, your dark greens are super.

A lovely little painting, Thalia.

Thank you very much Shirley, Carole, Shaun very kind of you..it is too hot to paint at this time of day [lunchtime] now, hence the intense looking paint work!! Thank you Alan and Emma, Greatly appreciate your kindness everyone.

Love the building with the curving steps, the different greens and the complimentary colours, a superb painting, Thalia.

Lovely wet in wet. Such a strong, vibrant watercolour.

Such boldness of colour in such a small painting - lovely, Thalia

The Knights of St John used Lunzjata Valley as a hunting area as well as growing food. This area is full of wonderful interesting things to paint. My friend's house is behind the building on the right. These steps are not easy to paint [or climb!!] as they are very steep and curve at a strange angle from the point of view of perspective! Tiny watercolour, 5x5,5ins.
