Like the way you have worked your brush strokes on this painting Thalia. And the story behind this reminds me a little of Tales of the unexpected.

Thank you, Chris, kind comment, and indeed, yes, the story is troubling! Thanks, Fiona and Romila...perhaps I should have painted 7 swimmers in it! Divers were doing a Rescue course as I was painting it!!

Plein air in Marsalforn Bay. Legend has it that 7 sisters were searching for echinoderms, [sea urchins], for their supper, one went out too far and was taken by the sometimes fierce current on the corner, the next sister went out to save her and was also swept away and so on until all were lost. I never swim here, or dive, just in case!!
