I looked at these the wrong way round. I like the light in the sky and the way it's catching the bushes. A real sense of distance too.

Thanks Carole...the dreaded greens! I tnd to use Viridian let down with Bunt Sienna or Raw Umber..bit of both here. Thanks Tessa, the dark foreground was adjusted from the underpainting. A fabulous oil painting Thalia - you are expert at light contrasts - very difficult in oil painting
