We're having some very strange weather here this year, and this was a very localised flash flood, literally 500 metres away, and we only got a few drops of rain! I used Liquin so that this would dry quickly, painted alla prima in about 90mins, I put the finishing touches of dark glaze to the cloud the following day. Really enjoyed doing this after so many small paintings!
