Ah ha! What a good idea, Jim. There was a family of ducks around when I was painting the plein air, and a vertical post will definitely help the horizontals, thank you very much! Thank you Linda and Lesley, you're really kind. looking at it, ducks are too big, will try for a sparrow or two!

Messing about with a boat! We have a yellow heat warning, so I'm trying not to do too much! Not easy...bored! This is my attempt at an abstract of a plein air harbour scene on HP Bockingford. Not going well! Too many horizontals. Help much appreciated!! Need to abandon it!
