Thank you Seth, John...yeah well He's my hero! Sylvia, Sandra, Lewis, Ellen, Carole, Linda,Rachel and Margaret. Yup, fingers are definitely itching, but I think, Carole that I might let it rest awhile, only just finished, and perhaps simply varnish it later when its hardened.

This is full of evocative mystery, motion in the clouds, stillness on the Hill, light and dark and ominous quiet. Really nicely done.

Hang on Studio Wall

Just to make everyone envious [only kidding!] the bones of this was painted looking out of my studio window, and the actual sunset painted from a photo, as the image as I wanted it disappeared too quickly to paint! Not sure whether to paint a very fine unifying glaze of transparent yellow oxide over the sky, and perhaps lightly scumble a faint indication of the layers of rubble walls under the lighthouse?
