The Bird Box

Comments

I put a new one up last Autumn and looking forward to inhabitants...lovely clean, clear lines...I like it a lot Tessa.

Thanks Sylvia. The chap next door put up a special swift box last year and it was nested in by sparrows much to his disappointment!

By the way folks, don’t forget the Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend!

Nicely done Tessa.

Good without a background. Nice clear lines.

Nicely done indeed Tessa.

I do appreciate your kind comments, many thanks Stephen, Marjorie and Chris. x

Glad to see by the upright shape of your tree, that the storm hasn’t arrived with you yet. It’s blowing a hoolie here! Love the way you have made it grow by your directional brush marks Tessa.

Lovely Tessa. I must say, I've been worried about the birds with the recent snow and ice and now the storms. I've been putting extra food out.

I think storm what’s it is revving up here Fiona! I’ve had enough of wind and weather for now. Thank you. 👍

Thanks Denise. I’ve also been putting extra food out and it disappears very quickly!

I really like how you’ve painted this tree almost in a linear style. It’s just how I see them!

Thanks Spencer. That’s what I was going for, a sort of graphic look.

Lovely tree and bird box Tessa, nice clarity and space, gives the tree premise and the birds too!

Thanks so much Angela. Much appreciated.

You are so versatile as an artist Tessa. It's lovely to see.

Gosh thank you Diane. I really appreciate that.

Beauty in its simplicity Tessa.

Simple, pared back, like it a lot

How lovely is this. Great promise of spring ahead Tessa.

Thanks so much Shaun, Carole and Heather. x

I can see this old tree from my studio (garret/spare bedroom!) , obviously very bare and windswept at present, but at least I’m able to paint it from life. Wasn’t sure whether to attempt a background, decided not. A4 acrylic on watercolour paper.
