Oh well done on this one Tessa. I have some photos of the terrible destruction in Syria which I have been wanting to try and portray for so long now but very much doubting I could do it.

A5 pen and gouache, idea taken from news photos. This is for our weekly art group theme of ‘buildings’, and I like to get away from ‘pretty’. I’m constantly horrified by images like this on the news. Getting used to gouache but have tried to leave most of the pen lines showing.
