Many thanks Heather,Alan, (indeed what can go wrong!?) Carole, ( look for ward to yours!), Seok, and Thalia thank you all. I have never had any teaching in watercolour so am finding my own way and want it to stay that way at present, though I have been inspired by several Very skilful watercolour artists on here.

That’s the way I have to do it Tessa, if I put pencil lines in I treat as if I’m colouring in! If I add any lines it’s one where I pretty much want my horizon line....in a landscape that is. Keep going, your watercolours are working out a treat.

A5 Hahnemuhle watercolour of some pots and a planter in our garden which is at last starting to show some more colour! I’ve tried not to show any drawing lines here, so again straight in with the brush.
