Thanks all for commenting. The photo hasn’t come out as dark as the painting, not sure why, I tried a few times but it is what it is as they say!

16 x 12” oil on board painted over a previous reject. I quite like allowing a little of the original to show through, but even if not, you have removed the dreaded white page/board to start with. There is a bit more texture on this also. I’ve tried to capture the lovely light I saw on the cut field with dark clouds gathering overhead. Also it seems an appropriate thought at present!
