A beautiful study in greens and an inviting pathway!

There are those who have an almost fanatical aversion from Prussian Blue - don't know why, I love it! I also love your painting: I can see myself walking along that path, with its subtle turn into the picture, encouraging you to walk through those trees. I didn't see Colin Steed's article, as I only get the Artist magazine - I shall have to see if I can lay hands on a copy: in any event, although I didn't see his painting, he's clearly given you a very good steer in the right direction.

My attempt at Colin Steed's three-colour demo piece in this month's (september 2023) Leisure Painter. I used Prussian Blue, Cadmium Yellow and Burnt Sienna. Watercolour 11" x 7" on Bockingford 140lb. CP
