I have no idea about the technique of CP drawing/painting. From what I read , it sounds quite complicated. You've got the colours and characteristics of the breed really well

Many thanks for your kind comments, Diana. when I started learning about coloured pencils, I decided I was definitely a watercolour paint person but gradually and with the right tuition I am now an avid fan of c/p , but this has been done with watercolour pencils which is another different technique again, I now use at times a combination of paint+ c/p for very fine details which very well or draw with watercolour pencils and then paint with watercolours.

Many thanks Carole for your encouragement. the picture I was drawing from was only as you see it, only the head and shoulders was coloured. so I won't be doing any more to it
