A wonderful pastel painting, that orchid just glows and your light and shadows are simply perfect. Pastel is my favourite medium so this is something for me to aspire to.

Great use of colour and composition, I particularly like the use of the shadow to balance and contrast the piece. Lovely work :) Better stop admiring your portfolio now...and get back to my own work in progress!
