Quiet Night by TaiMeng Lim

This is my very recent piece in pastel that took me to finish it in 3 hours. It has been a while for not touching my pastel colour. What a great joy to picking it up again :) Thank you very much for the kind compliment and I am very much appreciated it.

Lovely painting, great pallet, the way the colours all complement each other to tell the tale of evening time. The way the main illuminated trees shadow seems to point the way encouraging you to see and find out more I really like. I could imagine this as a child wanting to see what is in the brightly lit far distance but not daring to cross the dark space in between, everything really well painted TaiMeng.
